From the Coast of South Wales to the Heart of Your Ceremony
I’m a proudly Celtic soul with roots in both Wales and Scotland — and storytelling has been at the heart of my life for over 18 years.
Before I became a storytelling celebrant, I built a career as a professional actor and voice artist, performing on stage, screen, and radio across the world under my stage name CERITH FLINN — which, depending on the day, sounded like either a 1950s film star à la Errol Flynn — or a small-batch gin you’d order at a rooftop bar (fitting, really — I do love a good G&T).
Years in front of the camera and playing to stage audiences across the UK, taught me how to read a room, lift the laughter, pause for emotion, and make moments land. Now, I use that same craft, presence, and timing to tell real stories — love stories, life stories — with authenticity, humour, and heart.
Long before I stood at the top of an aisle, as a Celebrant, I was quietly learning the rhythm of weddings from behind the lens, second-shooting alongside my wife, the ridiculously talented wedding photographer KIRSTY LOUISE PHOTO. That time gave me a rare insight: not just how weddings run, but how they feel. Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural shift — a chance to blend my creative instincts, love of people, and years of performance experience into bespoke, cinematic, emotion-filled ceremonies.
Cerith (HE/him) — pronounced with a bold ‘K’, lived with an even bolder love for storytelling.
I celebrate who I am — living with Type 1 diabetes and coeliac disease, and proudly serving as an ambassador for Diabetes UK / Cymru. I fly the flag for education, visibility, and joy — proof that you can live fully, loudly, and beautifully.
As a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and fierce supporter of diverse love stories —Whoever you are, however you love — you’re safe, seen, and celebrated here.
I believe in grabbing joy daily and showing up for yourself — sea swimming, beach saunas, dancing barefoot in the kitchen.
Family is everything to me and what I live for.
The simple truth that always wins — love does.
